What is GHK-Cu?
GHK-Cu is a copper peptide first isolated in human plasma in 1973. Unlike most anti-ageing ingredients, it isn't a moisturiser — it's a signalling peptide. It tells your skin to produce more collagen and elastin, the structural proteins that thin out as you age. It's been studied for decades and is a quiet favourite among skincare insiders.
What's actually in the serum?
Two things that matter: GHK-Cu (the active) and Hyaluronic Acid (holds moisture so the peptide works in a hydrated environment). No fragrance, no filler actives, no "complexes" that are mostly water.
How do I use it?
2–3 drops on clean, dry skin — morning and night. Follow with moisturiser. Use SPF during the day.
How long until I see results?
Give it 6–12 weeks of consistent use. Peptides don't work overnight, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something. Most people notice texture and firmness changes first.
Can I use it with vitamin C or retinol?
Don't layer GHK-Cu directly with vitamin C — use them at opposite ends of the day (vitamin C in the morning, GHK-Cu at night, or vice versa). It pairs fine with most other steps.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
GHK-Cu is generally well tolerated. As with any new active, patch test on your inner arm for 24 hours before applying to your face.
